Our approach is different. We use a holistic approach rooted in Anthroposophy,--to identify HOW your child innately processes--bringing forth their natural ability to learn.

This is about helping them to fall in love with learning, all while receiving the necessary guidance, support, and mentorship in their lives.

The Excelsior Method
We combine classical academic rigor (deep reading, writing, and reasoning) with a Waldorf anthroposophical (whole child) approach.
Aiming to re-engage students through hands-on experiential learning, deep literature studies, and a deeply humane, one-on-one connection with a mentor.
Holistic Diagnosis
First we assess the child holistically to identify any specific learning gaps and how they naturally process information. We focus on uncovering their unique giftedness rather than focusing on "perceived learning disabilities". Then we consult with the parents to deeply understand their values, moral frameworks, and unique vision they have for their child's future.
Academic Foundation & Accelerated Learning
From there we create a customized curriculum that addresses the learnings gaps the child has.
Teaching students to truly understand the root concepts through multiple lenses, rather than forced memorization. Systematically progressing through the custom roadmap via structured, manageable homework assignments and targeted work projects.
Thought provoking Integration
Lastly, moving away from surface-level reading and immersing the student in classic literature and philosophy; the goal is to deeply "digest it" and integrate it into character Experiential Learning: Bringing education into the physical world through sensory projects and community engagement, allowing the child to see their tangible impact on the world.
